Participants can take part in two ways — without an account in the session, or with a student account through the education institution licence.
No account required. Participants join the session without signing in — no personal data, no profile, no tracking.
The school creates student accounts — anonymous (no personal data) or linked to an education institution via school email. With a school email, personal data is processed; a DPA is then available. Students use Splexit with limited functionality.
Student accounts without an active class assignment are deactivated after 6 months (data minimisation).

All prices include 19 % VAT unless stated otherwise. Institutional invoices for schools and authorities available net on request.

Modules for presentations, learning, culture, and events — from Splexit and the community. Two licence categories, clearly separated.
The main catalogue: presentation and experience modules for different contexts — schools, museums, training, events, and more. From Splexit and the community. Edu flat rate covers Edu modules; Pro flat rate covers all standard modules — use as many as you like, no individual purchase. Free buys modules individually as needed.
Modules can be found by topic, context, and audience. For classroom use, there are additional Edu modules with their own label — filterable by subject and year group.
High-quality partnership modules with exceptional production — for example from projects with museums, publishers, or universities. Premium modules are deliberately not part of the flat rate: creators are fairly compensated per licence so quality remains sustainable.
Examples will follow with the launch of the first premium partnerships.
Splexit is being developed in the open. We'll publish the GitHub repository in H2 2026 — then you can run the platform entirely yourself: free, no licence fee, full data sovereignty. The marketplace and official cloud services are tied to the official Splexit instance.
